Assisi Pet Care Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Assisi Pet Care has appointed Steve Woodhams as Chief Financial Officer, joining the Executive team, as the group continues to grow in the UK and Europe.

WP2_0293 — New to the Pet industry, Steve brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience of operating at the highest level within acquisitive, private equity, backed companies.

On joining the group, Steve says “The pet industry is new ground for me, but I was extremely impressed by the ambition and vision that the team at Assisi has which made the decision to join them a very easy one for me. Delivering against goals and driving business performance is what I can bring to a team and I cannot wait to get started in helping them team to realise it’s very challenging targets”.

In less than 3 years Assisi Pet Care now enjoys revenues in excess of £80m; achieved through both strong organic growth driven by distribution gains and the acquisition of complementary brands. The group now has a strong presence in both the UK and mainland European markets with its portfolio of natural treats and food for dogs and cats.
